Cereals have been grown for centuries in every corner of the planet and have always been the staple food of different peoples and cultures of the world
Grains are the seeds of plants grasses: wheat, oats, barley, rye, rice, maize, millet etc. All those who retain their bark are called comprehensive, richer in minerals, vitamins and plant fibers.
The cereal grain structure is formed by an interior rich in starch, covered by protein-rich layers, and its outside (bran) is constituted by a fibrous tissue.
At one end is the germ, rich in protein, iron and B vitamins and vitamin E. When meals are prepared, both the germ and bran are removed.
